Visiting baby Caroline at the hospital...

Less than 2 days after the incredible experience of documenting Caroline Kelly Cooper's birth, I returned to the hospital where proud and happy mom and dad, Matt & Mary, and the rest of the family were all spending time enjoying the newest (and the tiniest) member of their family! Thank you to Matt & Mary for having me there at such a fleeting and special time.

It's a Girl!!!

Every once in a while, I am offered the absolute privilege of photographing a birth. This morning, at 3:39am, I was with Matt & Mary Cooper as they welcomed their newest little one into the world, Caroline. She is so gorgeous!

This was the second time that I photographed Mary giving birth and again, I was blown away by her strength & grace, and deeply touched by Matt's support of her throughout the entire process. I mean, Wow!

Mary is the president and chief founding mama of an great service company that brings together moms and baby sitters, called mommymixer.com I know she will have some amazing sitters to help in the days to come. :)

I can't wait to photograph little Caroline with her big brother, Mattie, and big sister, Ellie. More to come!

Brothers, Part Two!

We were so excited to be asked to photograph Cole, Chase, and Cash again, one year later! These are a few of my favorite pictures from our session at Mayfield Park. We hiked and played (and we chased them with our cameras!) for over an hour. The boys are now on an overseas adventure--a move--and we can't wait to see how they've grown and changed when they come back to Austin next year. Thanks, Soozi! You are the best, and your boys are so dear and so so fun.

Check out this spirited beauty named Scout! She showed off her favorite blanket and headband, she kicked her purple ball, served plastic delicious looking cupcakes, ran in deft circles and was generally enchanting. Thanks to Scout's Mom, Jamie, for having Beaubaby out to your home for a wonderful session.

Happy Birthday Beaubaby!

Beaubaby has officially launched! Thanks to all of the moms who have helped with feedback as we formed the company. BB's talented photographers Courtney, Nick, and Anne all so excited to meet new babies and kids!

We'll be posting pictures of our next sessions with Scout and Esther, so stay tuned.
